This tool can be used for following purposes -
- Convert GSTR-1 excel file to JSON for uploading on GST portal.
- See data of GSTR-1 JSON file shared by client.
- See data of GSTR-1 JSON file downloaded from GST portal.
- Convert GSTR-1 JSON to Excel.
- Merge data of multiple GSTR-1 JSON or Excel files.
How to Use Tool
- Upload xlsx or json files. You can also upload more than one files simultaneously.
- A list of all sections (sheets in excel) will be show in tables.
- Click on any section to see data in table. You can also see summary of that section.
- Click on download Excel button to download Excel file with all the sections.
- Click on Download JSON file, a popup will be shown to enter GSTIN and select period. Enter these details and press download button to download JSON file. You can upload this JSON file on GST portal.
How to Download JSON files from GST Portal
- Login in GST portal.
- Click on Return Dashboard.
- Select financial year, quarter and then month. In case of quarterly GSTR-1, select last month of quarter.
- Click on download button in GSTR-1 section.
- Click on "Generate JSON file to Download" button. It will generate JSON file and will be available for download in up to 20 minutes.
